Naninindigan ang DepEd upang maiangat ang kalidad ng edukasyon sa bansa. Kinakatawan ng paninindigang ito ang pagkilala ng Pangulo sa edukasyon bilang pinakamabisang susi para mapabuti ang buhay ng ating mga kababayan.

Habang kinakaharap nating lahat ang krisis na dulot ng COVID-19 pandemic, batid ng DepEd ang laki ng hamon para sa pagpapatuloy ng edukasyon para sa lahat. Pagtulungan nating makamit ng ating kabataan ang kanilang buong potensiyal sa paraan ng edukasyon.

Kaya sa unang araw ng Hunyo 2020, makipag-ugnayan tayo sa pamunuan ng ating mga paaralan; magpalista para sa pagbubukas ng taong panuruan at panatilihin ang bayanihan tungo sa kalidad na edukasyon para sa kabataan!

In support to the Department of Agriculture’s nationwide implementation of President Rodrigo Roa Duterte’s “Plant, Plant, Plant Program” or “Ahon Lahat, Pagkaing Sapat (ALPAS) Laban sa COVID-19”, the Schools Division I Pangasinan thru the inspiring leadership of our Superintendent Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias, CESO VI, launched the Gulayan sa Bakuran: Backyard and Container Vegetable Gardening. It is a productive activity - part of the Work From Home mode in delivering services to target employees of the Department.

This activity aims to attain the goals of DepEd on poverty reduction, food security, biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation and adaption.

The Gulayan sa Bakuran Project shall be participated by SDO I Pangasinan teaching, non-teaching personnel and stakeholders in initiating vegetable gardens in their homes that will serve as food basket to sustain daily vegetable consumption.

The Project has two (2) categories: Backyard Vegetable Category and Container Vegetable Category, which should be monitored through an online platform. For seedlings, the participating personnel and stakeholders may coordinate with barangay officials and the Department of Agriculture for the meantime you may start with the available seeds or seedlings (kangkong, camote, alugbati, malunggay, etc.) in your area.

The Office of the Schools Division Superintendent (OSDS) shall monitor the Public Schools District Supervisors (PSDSs). The PSDS shall monitor the school heads (SHs). The SHs shall monitor the teachers as the teachers will monitor their learners’ gardens. The different heads of division/section/units shall monitor the SDO1 Pangasinan personnel
