Blood on Wheels, Blood Donation Campaign

Bugallon Pangasinan—The Philippine Red Cross Pangasinan Chapter held it’s “Blood on Wheels, Blood Donation Campaign” in Poblacion Bugallon Pangasinan in partnership with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council Office of Bugallon headed by Hon. Mayor Priscilla “Mely” I . Espino and with Hon. Congressman Christopher “Toff” De Venecia on April 23,2020,Thursday at 9:30 in the morning.

The Bugallon Integrated School family spearheaded by the conscientious Principal II of BIS, Dr. Jonathan R. Estrada together with some of the faculty members with their families were present as volunteer blood donors too.

Blood is the most valuable gift that anyone can give to another person — the gift of another life.

On March 18,2020 the Enhanced Community Quarantine has been strictly implemented in the entire Luzon due to the pandemic COVID-19, since then several virtual applications were used as a medium for information dissemination; as a tool for mode of instructions, and for the so-called “Work from Home”Activities were done amongst the schools in the Schools Division Office I of Pangasinan suggested by the hardworking and dedicated SDS, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias, CESO VI. One of the reasons why up to this day, Madam SMP still wanted to use one of the popular online applications which is the ZOOM Video Communications , to be used in Video Conferencing, Web Conferencing, Webinars, Screen Sharing and simply because of the urge to check the schools , with their committed school heads.

Prior to this, Dr. Jonathan R. Estrada ,Principal II of Bugallon Integrated School supports Madam SMP by checking our current situations at home since day 1 to show his fatherly love and care to the BIS family .

Even before we experience the pandemic crisis brought by COVID-19 , Madam SMP had already encouraged everyone in the Schools Division Office 1, Pangasinan to make the stage and decorations for recognition and graduation programs this year be simple by making use of recyclable materials to save money and to save Mother Earth.
