The passionate and dedicated Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias, CESO VI suggests different activities to divert the attention of the SDO 1 Pangasinan personnel from the scare brought by the pandemic COVID-19.
 
Bugallon Integrated School family headed by Dr. Jonathan R. Estrada, Principal II encourage everyone to participate to everyday activities for it’s for the betterment of themselves.

The activities today are the ff:

1.Do it Yourself (DIY) Coin Bank(Alkansya)
(In connection to one of the programs of the SDO1 Pangasinan which is the “Ipon Challenge).
2.Film Viewing: 93 Days
(When the deadliest infectious disease, Ebola virus known to man , and got 21 million  infected .This film serves a  tribute to all the front liners who are devoted to their work despite of the threat caused by pandemic disease).
3.Regular Exercise

5S for the Alternative Work Arrangement

Even at home we can still apply the 5S for the Alternative Work Arrangement which is the Work From Home Policy especially for the SDO 1 personnel. Wherein the 5S organization method that uses a list of five Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seisō, seiketsu, and shitsuke. These have been translated in English as "Sort", "Set In order", "Shine", "Standardize" and "Sustain".

“A family that prays and eats together, stays forever.” This well-known expression has been so important to Filipinos all over the world.

Our dear Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias, CESO VI of SDO 1 Pangasinan, being a SHEILAmazing wife and a mother of two reiterated the importance of family bonding that strengthens the relationship of the whole family members especially the time to share a meal and talk to everyone in one table.

A video demonstration on Hands-only CPR short for cardiopulmonary resuscitation by the Schools Division Superintendent ,Dr.Sheila Marie A. Primacias,CESO VI was disseminated in respective group chats in the entire SDO 1 Pangasinan to show how SMP Cares.

SMP also reiterated that respondents must not forget the 3 C’s:
1.CLEAR and CHECK (if the patient is UNRESPONSIVE then continue the Hands-Only CPR procedure).
2.CALL for help(Emergency Medical Hotlines must always be available or posted to your areas).
3.proceed to COMPRESSION .
Compress the patient’s middle breast (along with the beat of the song “Staying Alive or Baby Shark” ).

In response to this, the Bugallon Integrated School family under the leadership of Dr. Jonathan R. Estrada, principal II demonstrated the proper procedure of the Hands-only CPR thru posting on social media.

In this crucial time, you must “Save a life, and be an inspiration.”

Disclaimer: The patient is under the respondents liability, you must really know if he or she is unresponsive before taking such actions.
After the first aid, wait for the Medical front liners to continue the medical procedure.

Aksyong Pangkalikasan Continues to Progress even at Home

Day 4-March 20,2020, Friday.—The Bugallon Integrated School administration,faculty and staff participated in the request of our environment-friendly Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Sheila Marie A.Primicias, CESO VI of the SDO1 Pangasinan, to promote further the “Aksyong Pangkalikasan” one of most-admired programs of our visionary and workaholic SDS.

As a response to the advocacy on protecting and caring for Mother Earth even at home and in lieu of an Enhanced Community Quarantine in the entire Luzon, the DepEd personnel continues to adhere to what President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has stated to stay healthy and help fight Covid19.

In line with this, BIS teaching and non-teaching personnel spearheaded by Dr. Jonathan R. Operaña have spearheaded and shown their support in planting fruit-bearing trees and vegetables in their backyard with their families and even encouraged their students to do the same and upload videos and pictures in the social media to motivate them to extend their contribution to the said program since they already have knowledge in “Urban Gardening”.

With reference to the Fit Fil(Fit Filipinos) Challenge -—one of Aksyon Pangkalusugan programs of the visionary and hardworking Schools Division Superintendent, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias , CESO VI, that through a 4-minute exercise as a morning routine,this aimed to help all employees even under an Extreme Enhanced community quarantine would still have a healthier body, mind and spirit .

In response to the Fit Fil activity, Bugallon Integrated School administration, faculty and staff headed by Dr. Jonathan R. Estrada, Principal II of BIS happily accepted the challenge and encouraged all the employees of BIS to participate before engaging to their work from home activities.

|March 23,2020| Bugallon Integrated School supports Rabies Awareness Month with the theme: “Rabies ay Iwasan, Alagang Aso’t Pusa ay Pabakunahan”, thru online campaign.

Aside from the Rabies issue, the Corona virus disease known as COVID-19 is a worldwide alarming topic which informs that animals could have the possibility to become part of the transmission chain of the disease , so pets like dogs and cats should be quarantined too aside from humans.

DepEd Commons: An Online Platfrom for Learning

DepEd offers online learning called DepEd Commons

The Department of Education introduces and launches “DepEd Commons” as an alternative way of teaching the learners thru online technology and to promote EDUkalidad as one of the programs of DepEd.

The DepEd’s Office of the Undersecretary for Administration, under the leadership of Undersecretary Alain del Pascua said that this a platform of reaching out to students despite of the threat caused by corona virus disease known as COVID-19 throughout the entire country , that there will always be a way of learning even at home. Much safer yet a productive one.

DepEd Commons can be accessed at https://commons.deped.gov.ph. Pascua noted that since it is in the initial phase, the DepEd Commons is “not complete nor perfect.”
Bugallon Integrated School learners happily adapts this online platform mandated by DepEd thru the initiative of Dr. Jonathan R. Estrada , Principal II of BIS to instruct the teachers and to ensure that quality of education is still being continued and with this,teachers can still monitor the students’ development.

“Hindi lang pupils ang nag eenjoy at natutuwa, pati parents po.” Ms.Aileen Malicdem, elementary teacher said after introducing DepEd Commons to her learners.

As what the SDS, Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias ,CESO VI of SDO1 Pangasinan reiterated, “Embrace the Change”, for this is for the betterment of the education in our division and the whole country.

March 19,2020—In line with DepEd Memorandum No. 43, s.2020 and Regional Memorandum 176, s.2020, Bugallon Integrated School administration , faculty and staff continuously administers work from home policy as an alternative work arrangement.

With this regard all BIS personnel must be readily available during working hours and be able to respond with the queries and concerns by the school heads spearheaded by Dr. Jonathan R. Estrada, Prinicipal II of BIS, PSDS Dr. Catherine B. Operaña, and SDS Dr. Sheila Marie A. Primicias, CESO VI thru online monitoring supervision.
